The past couple months have not been kind to Major League Baseball, as they saw a pandemic halt their season just a couple weeks before it was supposed to start, and the past month has seen the sport become the laughing stock of the sports world as the owners and players have yet to agree on a deal to resume play, tearing into the other side in the process.

Despite all of the animosity and clear difference in plan and demands, do you expect there to be a 2020 MLB season?

Adam McCalvy, Brewers beat reporter for Brewers.com/MLB.com and authoer of "The Milwaukee Brewers at 50”, says he is "naively and stupidly optimistic" that there will be a season.

He joined Bill on Monday to talk about the ongoing negotiations, his book, and more:

- Does he expect the owners and the MLBPA to reach a deal?

- Is this all about money?

- What are some of the things he’s heard from fans?

- What does the timeline look like if Rob Manfred institutes a Back-To-Work order

- Did he like the Brewers draft picks this season?
