For the first time in a long time, the Brewers took the field for a regular season game this past weekend. The season seemed in jeopardy for a while (and could still be in jeopardy thanks to the Miami Marlins), but nonetheless Christian Yelich, Ryan Braun and the Crew returned to play.

So far, through four games, Yelich and Braun have struggled out of the gate, with Yelich a brutal 1-18 (the one hit being a home run in the Brewers win over the Cubs last Saturday), and Ryan Braun a not much better 1-9 (though his one hit was the game tying 2 run double in the 9th against the Pirates).

How much do the Brewers need to rely on their stars to carry them this season?

Adam McCalvy, of Brewers.com/MLB.com and Author of “The Milwaukee Brewers at 50”, joined Bill on Tuesday to talk about the importance of the Brewers' stars, the Marlins and more:

- What has he seen from the Brewers so far in the four games of the season?

- With so many Marlins coming down with COVID-19, what needs to happen to put the season on hold?

What does he make of Ryan Braun’s role for this year’s team?

What has he seen from Justin Smoak so far at first base?
