MILWAUKEE-- The Brewers are back in it. The Crew have now won four straight games and currently sit only a game and a half outside of the NL Wild Card slot after a 8-3 win against the Miami Marlins. It could fall back to two games if the Chicago Cubs beat the San Diego Padres out west tonight in California.

Nonetheless, the Brewers are playing playoff baseball right now: four straight, and eight of eleven in recent play.

This has come from the help of some key members of the Brewers offense, most notably Yasmani Grandal, Lorenzo Cain, and Christian Yelich.

Grandal hit his fifth home run in September with this bomb that really opened up this ballgame:

Grandal knocked in Trent Gisham with the homer, and the rook had quite the game himself. Grisham went 5 of 6, and was a home run shy of the cycle.

The other two stars on this team, Cain and Yelich, have been heating up (or in Yelich's case, being the MVP) during this streak. Cain is hitting .368 in the month of September in 19 AB's, while Yelich has hit three homers and brought eight runners to the plate over the last eight games.

This team is heating up, and they have a serious shot to make the playoffs with only 19 to go. Game one of the four game set in Miami goes to the Brewers in an 8-3 win.
