Bo Ryan is a name infamous in Wisconsin thanks to his time at UW-Platteville, UW-Milwaukee and Wisconsin as the head basketball coach. He won four national titles with UW-Platteville, brought UWM back to success, and took Wisconsin to two Final Fours during his 30+ years as a head coach in the state.

Now, his son Will is following in his footsteps, as he agreed to become the new head coach at UW-Green Bay after a one year stint at Wheeling University.

He joined Bill on Thursday to talk about his journey back to the state of Wisconsin, his dad and more:

Has it sunk in that he’s a head coach?

- What does it mean to him to become a coach in the state that made his dad famous?

How is it trying to become his own coach and not follow exactly in his dad’s coaching footsteps?

How different is it coaching kids now compared to when Bo started in the 80‘s?

How long has he known he wanted to have a career in basketball?
