Milwaukee, WI - Brewers pitcher Brent Suter has suffered a torn UCL, and will likely require season-ending Tommy Johns surgery, according to a report from veteran basball reporter Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic Monday afternoon.

Suter has been dealing with forearm tightness that bothered him again Sunday in the Brewers 11-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Suter had to exit the game after just 3 innings of work. Manager Craig Counsel said Suter was "just not making his pitches" and was "likely headed to the DL."

The Brewers open a series Monday night at Miller Park against the Washington Nationals.
