July 31, 2019 - 10:55 pm

The Brewers weren't done making moves once the trade deadline passed on Wednesday afternoon.  Before game two against the A's, it was reported that 22-year old, Trent Grisham, would join the Brewers sometime during the series.

The former first-round pick was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers with the 15th overall pick in the 2015 MLB June Amateur Draft.  He's ranked as the number six prospect in the Brewers' farm system, according to MLB Pipeline.

Grisham only played 34 games with AAA San Antonio, but made his presence known.  In that time with the Missions, Grisham recorded a .381/.471/.776 slash line with 13 home runs and 30 RBIs.  He also hit for the cycle, with two home runs on Tuesday.

According to Brewers' manager, Craig Counsell, Grisham will be in the starting lineup for the finale against the Oakland Athletics.  As of Wednesday night, the Brewers have to yet to announce the corresponding move to Grisham's call up.
