Brewers' Thames will undergo MRI for injured thumb

Kansas City - Brewers' first baseman Eric Thames jammed the thumb on his left hand making a play on a ground ball in the eighth inning of Tuesday night's game against the Royals. Thames remained in the game and finished the inning but did not play in the ninth.

He will have an MRI Wednesday to check for ligament damage. Read more here.
