Bucks clinch

March 02, 2019 - 1:06 am

LOS ANGELES - You get what you pay for and the Milwaukee Bucks got an immediate return on investment from Eric Bledsoe, who put up a monster performance just hours after agreeing to terms on a four-year, $70 million contract extension. Bledsoe had a hand in every point during Milwaukee's 16-3 run to carry the Bucks back from a 12-point deficit in the third quarter.

More importantly, he stepped up at crunch time with the Bucks down two, depositing a pair of and-ones to put the Bucks up one. Then he connected on the dagger, a three-pointer with 37.2 seconds left to wrap up a 131-120 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night at Staples Center. All told, Bledsoe had 31 points – 20 in the second half – along with nine rebounds and five assists.
