When it was reported last week that Zach Davies had an oblique strain, many people became concerned. Chase Anderson had a similar injury last season which put him on the DL for weeks.

I'm happy to report some good news...

I had a chance to catch up with the Brewers starter. Davies reassured me that he was no longer hurting, "I'm doing great. Had a little bit of a bump in the road; got on top of it pretty early. It was a minor thing...ready to go." The 25-year old pitched Monday in an intrasquad game and said everything was great on that end. He met the 45 pitch limit that the coaching staff set for him.
