Green Bay, WI - A judge has charged Green Bay Packers tight end Lance Kendricks with possession of THC. The charges stem from a traffic stop last September when Kendricks was pulled over early Sunday morning, September 2nd returning to Green Bay, after attending the Badgers vs. Utah State game in Madison. Wisconsin State Troopers say Kendricks was speeding, clocked at 81 mph in a 70 mph zone, and was suspected of smoking pot at the time of the incident. Kendricks cooperated with officers and was released with a warning.

The TCH charges could likely cost Kendricks a one game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Kendricks has a court date regarding the matter February 14th, 2018. He is the third player currently on the Packers roster with a charge regarding marijuana use. Running back Aaron Jones was pulled over for speeding and pot in October and has a court date in the offseason. Wide recevier Geronimo Allison was arrested for speeding and pot Labor Day weekend in 2016, and served at one game suspension at the start of the 2017 season.  READ MORE
