Kidd back in the NBA

The Los Angeles Lakers had numerous names to pick from for their next head coaching hire.  Many assumed the Lakers would go with either Monty Williams or Tyronn Lue as their next head coach.  Williams accepted the Phoenix Suns offer to become their next head coach just days ago.  Their meeting with Lue didn't go as planned either.  Instead, the Lakers have hired former Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic head coach Frank Vogel.  Los Angeles has agreed to a three-year deal with the Lakers.  Jason Kidd has also found his way back into the NBA.  The former Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets head coach reportedly accepted an assistant coaching position with the Lakers just minutes after Vogel was hired.  Both Vogel and Kidd were without a job this current NBA season.  This will also be Kidd's first assistant position in his coaching career.
