Today's game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Pittsburgh Pirates has been postponed... or at least that's what Milwaukee fans wished they would have heard after they were blown out by the Pittsburgh Pirates after a two and a half hour thunderstorm delayed the first pitch. The Bucs put up 12 runs while holding the Brew Crew to only 2 in the game two loss of the three game set.

Adrian Houser made his fifth start of the season, and it didn't go as planned. He gave up four runs in the first inning of the ballgame.

Houser has been less than ideal as a starter going 0-3 with a 8.47 ERA in five games. He has been much more of a boon for the team in the bullpen as he has a 1.04 ERA in 14 appearances.

The Crew scored only two runs in the ballgame: a solo shot by Mike Moustakas in the top of the first and a Yasmani Grandal homer in the third.

The Pirates were just all over the Brewers pitching staff: 17 hits, 12 runs for the home team on Saturday night.

Kevin Newman was particulaily excellent in today's game. He was 4-5 with a homer and 3 RBI's on the day.

A scary moment happened in the bottom of the eighth inning as SS Orlando Arcia and 2B Keston Huira collided while they both tried to field a ground ball. Huira stayed in the game, but Arcia was carted off of the field with an upper body injury.

The Crew are back at it tomorrow in the final game before the All-Star Break. First pitch is at 12:35.
