The Milwaukee Brewers were shutout by the Cincinatti Reds on Wednesday night after a career night for Sonny Gray.

Gray dominated the Brewers striking out 12 and allowing only 4 hits in 8 shutout innings.

Chacin was on the mound for the Crew and he had a decent day himself. He threw 6 innings and struck out 8 on the day. But, he gave up a solo shot to Yasiel Puig in the bottom of the second which started the run that Reds would need to win this one.

Chacin stayed on to until the seventh, but he was out there a little too long. He gave up three straight hits in the seventh extending the Reds' lead to two.

Wilkerson would come on in the eighth and the Reds would tack on another with a sac fly by Puig scoring Votto from third.

Milwaukee would threaten in he nnth with two outs in the ninth with ryan Braun standing on second base, but the team couldn't end the shutout.

The Brew Crew would lose game three to the Reds 3-0.
