Moustakas, Grandal, and Hader get ASG nod

Four Brewers will be heading to Cleveland

June 30, 2019 - 7:28 pm

The Milwaukee Brewers will be well represented in Cleveland for the 2019 all-star game.  After Sunday's game, Mike Moustakas, Josh Hader, and Yasmani Grandal were all named as reserves for the National League.  They will join their teammate, Christian Yelich, who will make his first all-star game start and received the most votes for any NL player.  This will also be Yelich's second all-star game appearance.  Yasmani Grandal will also make his second career all-star game appearance. This is also going to be Mike Moustakas' third all-star game appearance.  Josh Hader will appear in consecutive all-star games too, despite being in the big leagues for only three seasons.  This will be the seventh time in Brewers' franchise history the team will have four or more players representing the team in the all-star game.
