Green Bay, WI - Packers tight end Jimmy Graham returned to the practice field Sunday after missing two weeks with a finger injury.

Graham was running a crossing route in training camp on the Sunday leading up to the Packers game in Winnipeg against the Raiders.

Quarterback DeShone Kizer threw a 15 - yard rocket that bounced off Graham's hands, as he grasped his right hand in pain, and continued running straight inside to the Hutson Center to seek medical attention.

On Sunday Graham was back a practice catching passes, and wearing two strips of black tape wrapped around his ring finger and injured pinky finger. It appears he will give it a go Thursday night against the Chicago Bears in the season opener.

Also returning was cornerback Kevin King who says he suffered a hamstring injury in his left leg during Family Night a month ago. King says he has spent every day since then working with team trainers on rehabbing the sore hamstring. No word confirming yet if King will be active for the Bears game.

DeShone Kizer was released by the Packers on Saturday after the team traded for him from the Cleveland Browns last year in exchange for sometimes disgruntled former first round draft pick cornerback Damarious Randall. Kizer was signed over the weekend by the Oakland Raiders.

Packers general manager Brian Gutenkunst said Kizer and Tim Boyle are both NFL caliber quarterbacks, but that Boyle outperformed Kizer in camp, both in preseason games, and in practice. The Packers only kept two quarterbacks on their roster, Aaron Rodgers, and Boyle.

A third quarterback, Manny Wilkins out of Arizona State, was signed to the team's practice squad. Wilkins saw some action against the Chiefs last Thursday night, leading the Packers on a game winning drive. At one point he hurdled over Chiefs cornerback Mark Fields on a quarterback keeper. Field had already committed three costly penalties. The Chiefs Andy Reid traded Fields the next day to the Raiders for a conditional pick.

All ten players signed to the practice squad were players cut Saturday from Green Bay's 90 man roster:

TE Evan Baylis, RB Tra Carson, CB Kabion Ento, WR Allen Lazard, DL James Looney, T Yosh Nijman, LB Randy Ramsey, LB Brady Sheldon, WR Malik Taylor and QB Manny Wilkins. The transactions were announced Sunday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
