Report: Brewers sign Matt Albers

According to Ken Rosenthal of the MLB Network, the Milwaukee Brewers have signed former Nationals Reliever Matt Albers to a two-year, $5 million deal. Albers, 35, has pitched in the big leagues for the last 11 years. His contract includes up to $1 million in performance bonuses per year based on games.

In 63 appearances last season, the right hander went 7-2 w/ a 1.62 ERA, striking out 63/walking 17. More on Albers here.
