The baseball world was shocked Tuesday afternoon, when it was leaked that the Brewers and Christian Yelich were nearing a contract extension that would keep the superstar in Milwaukee for an extra seven years.

It's not often that a superstar elects to stay in the small market of Milwaukee, but one of the guys who knows the most about sticking around is former MVP Ryan Braun. He took a team friendly deal in 2011 that locked him in as a career Brewer- and despite suspensions for PEDs and multiple trade rumors Braun is still here in Milwaukee in what could be his final season in the MLB. What role did he play in Yelich signing his long term contract?

He joined Bill on Wednesday to talk about the extension, his spring so far, and more:

- How healthy is he currently?

- How comfortable is he at first base compared to 2018?

- What are his thoughts on the supposed contract extension for Christian Yelich?

- What was his thought process when he was signing his long term contract?

- Has he thought about going into coaching once he retires?
