MADISON -- Jack Coan turned in the best game of his career, the defense shut Central Michigan out, and the offense ran up the score in a Badgers 61-0 win over the Chippewas.

Central Michigan made waves during the week by saying they were ready to take on the 17th ranked Badgers, and that they were ready to prove what they could do, but the Badgers got the last laugh, holding the Chippewas to 58 total yards and zero points.

The game also saw Quintez Cephus record his first two touchdowns back with the team after his year long suspension. Cephus, thanks to Coan, posted the best game of his career as well, with six catches for 130 yards, and two touchdowns.

The Badgers have a bye week next Saturday, their next game is Spetember 1st when they will take on 7th ranked Michigan.
