SAN DIEGO -- The Brewers offense was completely shut down for the second night in a row, this time thanks to seven scoreless innings from Logan Allen, making his major league debut. The Brewers did get a run across in the 8th inning on a wild pitch, but despite hitting the ball hard no other runs crossed the plate in the 4-1 loss.

Brandon Woodruff went six innings in the start, allowing all four runs for the Padres en route to only his second loss of the season. Mike Moustakas left the game early after being hit by a pitch in the 5th inning, no word yet on if he will miss any time.

The Brewers will look to avoid the sweep tomorrow afternoon, Zach Davies will take the mound for the Crew against Matt Strahm for the Padres, 2:40pm start from San Diego
