Brewers lose for 8th time in 10 games

ATL 4, MIL 2

July 15, 2019 - 10:49 pm

MILWAUKEE - Keston Hiura tried his best to lead the team to a victory, but a Freddie Freeman three-run homerun proved to be too much to overcome in the Braves 4-2 win over the Brewers. Keston was a home run shy of the cycle with an RBI, and Ryan Braun added another run on a solo shot in the 6th, but the rest of the offense couldn't get it done with runners in scoring position.

Adrian Houser was solid for six innings, just one big mistake to Freeman, but in the 7th he unraveled and allowed the first three hitters to reach, chasing him with a line of 6+ innings, four runs on eight hits.

Game two of this three game series is tomorrow night, Brandon Woodruff will face Bryse Wilson for the Braves. 7:10 first pitch from Miller Park
