Chicago, IL - From the first pitch of the game from Wrigley Field, the second game of the series was a little...chippy. Several players were thrown at throughout the day but the Milwaukee Brewers came away with a relatively easy 8-3 victory to get in the win column for the first time in 2020.

Christian Yelich came up big once again with a two run shot in the sixth inning to give the Brewers some separation to make it 6-3 after Kyle Schwarber homered to make it 4-3 the inning prior. Justin Smoak also hit his first home run as a Brewer, off the right field foul pole. Brent Suter gets the win for Milwaukee.

The rubber match between the two rivals is Sunday at 1:20.
