CHICAGO - The Brewers picked up perhaps their biggest win of the season, blanking the Cubs 2-0 to stay in the playoff hunt. A loss would have put the Brewers six games back of the Cubs in the Wild Card, with a win the Crew can continue to have dreams of October.

The only scoring in the game happened in the first inning on a Manny Pina two RBI single, and the rest of the game the pitching dominated.

Brewers starter Zach Davies only went 4 2/3 innings, but the rest of the bullpen combined to shut down a powerful Cubs lineup, with Josh Hader shutting the door for his 27th save of the season.

The rubbermatch of this three game series is Sunday afternoon, Gio Gonzales will take on Yu Darvish for the Cubs.
