MILWAUKEE -- The Brewers moved in to a tie for the top Wild Card spot with a 4-3 win over the Pirates, completing the series sweep.

Eric Thames provided a huge spark for the Brewers offense, hitting two home runs and driving in three of the Brewers four runs (the fourth coming on an Orlando Arcia home run).

Brewers pitching had a combined perfect game going into the 7th inning, and surrendered three unearned runs in the 8th but Josh Hader closed the door in the 9th for his 35th save of the season

The Brewers will have Monday off before starting a three game series with the Reds on the road. Adrian Hauser will take on Sunny Gray in game one Tuesday.
