MILWAUKEE -- The Brewers took advantage of some timely hitting and sloppy play from the Padres to win 5-1, securing three wins in four games against the Friars.

Brewers pitching struck out 16 San Diego batters on the day, allowing just five hits and one run for the game.

Ryan Braun was the only Brewers player to have a multi hit game, but thanks to two costly errors from the Padres the Brewers got the job done

Next up for the Crew, they'll welcome in the Pirates for a three game weekend set. Chase Anderson will take on Steven Brault for the Buccos.
