Brewers top Twins 8-3 in Game 1

MINNEAPOLIS - The Brewers took Game 1 of 3 at Target Field with an 8-3 win over the Twins, Friday. Ji-Man Choi got the offense started with a solo home run in his first plate appearance back in the big leagues. Not to be outdone, fellow first baseman Jesús Aguilar belted two home runs - his fourth and fifth of the season - as part of a strong performance at the plate in which he reached base safely in all four of his plate appearances. Starter Brent Suter lasted five and two-thirds innings allowing just one run on a sac fly, and a two-run home run off Boone Logan was the only blemish on another sharp outing for the Brewers' bullpen. Read more here.
