Bucks Move On To ECF

May 08, 2019 - 10:11 pm

MILWAUKEE -- The Bucks are headed to their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance since 2001 after defeating the Celtics 116-91. The Bucks outscored the Celtics in every single quarter of the game, and limited the Celtics to 31% shooting en route to the 25 point drubbing.

The Bucks had seven players in double figures, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo with a 20/8/8/2/2 statline. Kyrie Irving led the Celtics with 15 points, but it took him 21 shots to get the 15, and the Bucks limited him to just one assist with three turnovers.

The Bucks will wait for the conclusion of the Sixers/Raptors series to see who they will play in the ECF.
