Chacin lit up, Brewers fall to D-Backs

July 20, 2019 - 12:49 am

PHOENIX - With a heat index up well over 100 degrees in Arizona, Jhoulys Chacin couldn't stand the heat, giving up seven runs (six earned) in only 2 1/3 innings, as the Brewers fall to the Diamondbacks 10-7. The Brewers offense put up a solid seven runs in the game, including home runs from Lorenzo Cain (his 7th) and Christian Yelich (his 35th, a booming 459 foot blast), but it was too little too late as the early deficit was too much to overcome.

Gio Gonzales will make his first start in almost two months in tomorrow night's game, he will face off against former Brewer Zach Greinke for the D-Backs. 7:10 first pitch from Chase Field.
