Former Packers offensive lineman T.J. Lang officially announced his retirement Friday. He spent the last two seasons as a member of the Detroit Lions after eight seasons in Green Bay.

The 31-year-old was drafted in the fourth round of the 2009 draft and won a Super Bowl ring with the Packers in 2011. He became a starter in the 2011 season and started 113 games in his 10-year career.

Lang was a two-time Pro Bowler and was one of the most respected offensive lineman in the game.

The end of Lang’s career came with a slew of injuries including multiple concussions and neck and back injuries. He sat out 10 games in 2018 with Detroit which lead to his release in early March.
