Former Louisville Cardinals men's basketball players sue NCAA

July 11, 2018 - 8:42 pm

The athletes are pushing back. A group of former Louisville men's basketball players are suing the NCAA over the organization's decision to vacate 123 Louisville wins - including the 2013 National Championship. The decision to vacate wins came in February as a response to allegations of a former men's basketball staffer hiring escorts and dancers for team sex parties in 2015. The lawsuit, filed on Wednesday, does not currently specify monetary damages. Rather, it aims to restore the vacated wins and awards of the team and relevant, affected players. Full story here.
