HOUSTON – In a game featuring the past three MVP winners, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo did everything he could to prove himself the best of the best. With 30 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists, he became the first player since Oscar Robertson in 1966 to post a 30-plus point triple-double in his opening game.

But there was a time when he couldn't do anything at all.
