LaFleur on Rodgers drama: I don't really care

For new Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, the past few weeks and opening of his first offseason program have taken a backseat in the headlines to stories and rumors surrounding the old guard of Green Bay glory -- caught up in a media whirlwind that surrounded the relationship between his predecessor, Mike McCarthy, and his new quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.

If LaFleur had his way, the past week would have been all about football. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't. However, the new head man remains seemingly unphased by any reports that could point toward remaining drama or ill feelings involving his new signal-caller. 

"Honestly, I haven't put a whole lot of thought into that," LaFleur told SI.com's Albert Breer. "I wasn't here, so I don't know what happened. And quite frankly, I don't really care what happened."

LaFleur proceeded to hammer home the mantra that he has recited since his introductory press conference. He want's high-character guys, and he wants to win football games -- moving forward as a football team. He went so far as to say that he has "enjoyed every second" of working with Rodgers thus far.
