GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Packers have acquired defensive back Mike Tyson off of waivers from the Texans. The team reportedly waived undrafted rookie wide receiver Matthew Eaton to make room on the roster.

Tyson was a seventh-round pick of the Seahawks in 2017, but never played a regular-season down for the team. He spent 2018 with the Texans where he played in 10 games, starting two. His natural position is safety, but worked at cornerback while on the Seahawks practice squad his rookie year.

The Packers also announced, Monday, the signing of second-round pick Elgton Jenkins.
