MILWAUKEE - The Brewers offense was relatively quiet, compiling just three hits in a 6-1 loss to the Cardinals in Game 2 at Miller Park. Craig Counsell said after the game that it'll be "a DL for sure" for Tyler Saladino; he left the game in the third inning after rolling his ankle over the second base bag. It was later diagnosed as a left ankle sprain.

A Jonathan Villar double in the seventh inning brought the only Milwaukee run across. Zach Davies was roughed up for five runs in five innings and took the loss. Dan Jennings allowed one run on a home run in relief, the only run scored in another strong bullpen effort. Full story here.
