The Packers may have found their Blake Martinez replacement. Early Monday morning the team reached an agreement with former Cleveland Browns' linebacker Christian Kirksey on a two year, $16 million deal, first reported by Mike Garafolo of NFL.com:

Kirksey, 27, has only played nine games in the past two seasons, so the move is a bit of a gamble for the Packers. In his last healthy season, the Iowa product recorded 86 solo tackles, five tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and five passes defended.

The move adds to a shockingly expensive linebackers corps, with Za'Darius and Preston Smith both under contract for $13 million+ per year... but the team may not be done at the position.

According to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, the Packers and Raiders are expected to be heavily linked to former Rams linebacker Cory Littleton once free agency officially begins:

Free agency opens Monday at 11 am Central, we'll have coverage all week here on the Bill Michaels Show.
