Packers, Vikings, tie 29-29

September 16, 2018 - 5:40 pm

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Packers and Vikings settled for a 29-29 tie at Lambeau Field, Sunday afternoon. Aaron Rodgers threw for one touchdown, and he (seemingly) avoided further injury to his knee. But, the special teams units for both squads might have been more influential in the outcome than either quarterback. Geronimo Allison blocked a punt, and Josh Jackson recovered it in the end zone for the first score of the game. Mason Crosby booted five of six field goal attempts through the uprights, his only miss coming on a 52-yard try as regulation expired. Vikings rookie kicker Daniel Carlson, on the other hand, missed all three of his field goal attempts - including two during the overtime period. Full Story Here.
