Thames' walk-off HR carries Brewers by Rockies 5-3

MILWAUKEE - Trailing by one run with two out in the bottom of the ninth, Eric Thames did what Eric Thames does - hit home runs. His three-run blast salvaged the win as the Brewers walked-off the Rockies 5-3 in Game 1 at Miller Park, Friday night. Mike Moustakas and Christian Yelich (solo home run) drove in the other two runs for the Crew. Corbin Burnes got the win, but Junior Guerra carried the load on the mound; his eight-inning, three-run performance was the longest outing by a Brewers starter this season. Read more here
