With Hornibrook gone, what's next at QB for Badgers?

MADISON, Wis. -- Alex Hornibrook announced his transfer to the Florida State Seminoles a few weeks back. Now, the Wisconsin Badgers look to turn the page and find their next long-term signal caller. Hornibrook's decision to transfer prior to his senior season is somewhat rare, especially considering he was a three-year starter. His experience, if nothing else, will be difficult to replace. Head Coach Paul Chryst, however, will likely hope to breed quality through quantity.

The Badgers have options headed into the season: Jack Coan (junior) who started the Pinstripe Bowl, Danny Vanden Boom (sophomore) and redshirt freshman Chase Wolf bring familiarity. Graham Mertz, the true freshman, might be the most talented of the group if and when he grasps the offense. Read more here.
