Yelich's grand slam propels Brewers to 9-4 win over Nationals

WASHINGTON - The Brewers clinched the weekend series against the Nationals with a 9-4 victory on Sunday -- their fourth consecutive series win. Keon Broxton gave his team the lead with a two-out, three-run homer in the fifth inning. Not to be outdone, Christian Yelich belted a grand slam -- the first of his MLB career -- later that inning to give Brandon Woodruff some breathing room. Woodruff didn't need it, though; he tossed four scoreless innings in relief of Junior Guerra to earn the win. Full story here.
