Green Bay, WI - Following a 21-16 win over the Minnesota Vikings we asked Green Bay Packers cornerback Tramon Williams if Sunday's crowd of 78.416 was louder, and does screaming fans really help win football games?

The Packers placed safety and hybrid linebacker Raven Greene on injured reserve on Monday, after he suffered a severe ankle injury in the game and had to be carted off the field. Greene could return in 8-10 weeks if his rehab goes well, according to reports.

The team claimed a cornerback and kick returner, Tremon Smith, off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday. Smith, 23, played his college football at Central  Arkansas.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur revealed on Monday the team has elected co-captains for the season. "One for each side of the ball. We have a lot of leaders in that locker room." The team voted for Aaron Rodgers to represent the offense, linebacker Za'Darius Smith on defense, and place kicker Mason Crosby to represent special teams. In addition weekly captains will join the trio for the coin toss before the start of the games.

The Packers host the Denver Broncos on Sunday, who lost on a last second field goal to the Chicago Bears, 16-14, as time expired. The Broncos are now 0-2 for the season. Chicago improved to 1-1.
