Miami Heat rookie and Wisconsin native Tyler Herro kept it real with Bill Michaels on Friday's show.

Some fans in the state were frustrated when he chose Kentucky over the University of Wisconsin. His decision was pretty simple:

"Going to Kentucky...it's not really a college experience," Herro says. "You go there for basketball. You get your studies together, but then after that, it's all about basketball."

The Whitnall High School grad was set on what he wanted to accomplish. "My goal was to get to the NBA. Nowadays it's all about getting there as young as you can. Being able to go to Kentucky, they had the right blueprint for me to be able to go to the NBA after one year."

What has he learned from the likes of John Calipari and Erik Spoelstra? Has it hit him that he's a professional basketball player? What will it mean to play against the Bucks in the season home-opener?
