How Good Can The Brewers Be?

The Milwaukee Brewers are at the quarter turn of the regular season and they’ve either been in first place or near the top spot in the National League Central since the start of the season.

How good are they and what can they do for the rest of the season?

Put it this way, the Crew has been shut out 8 times so far this season and still have a record well over .500.

Glass half full; they haven’t hit their offensive peak yet and if/or when the bats do heat up, with more games in the band boxes that are Wrigley, Great American, PNC and Miller Park, this team could run away and hide with the division especially with the 7th best pitching staff in all of baseball right now.

Glass half empty; the pitching can’t be this good all season right?  If some of the Brewers bats had career years last year and can’t duplicate those numbers, then when the pitching goes, so will the divisional hopes.

I think the Brewers are closer to the former than the latter but let’s face, I love it when my glass is half full.

So, is your glass half full or half empty?
