Packers Win Again

OK…..people all the time accuse me of not being able to do what I'm about to do, so I’m here to prove every one of them erroneous.

I was wrong. So wrong.

Yes, a week ago I predicted that the Patriots and the Vikings would meet in Minnesota for Super Bowl XLII.  While the Patriots needed a come from behind win to get them to Minneapolis, the worst fears of the Vikings fan base have come true.  For the 7th straight time, the team in Purple has broken the hearts of their faithful in an NFC Championship Game.  Not only did the Vikings lose, they were drilled out of the post-season.

So no, they will not be the first team in Super Bowl history to be the host city and a participant in the game’s showcase.  And no, as I stupidly predicted, they will not WIN the Super Bowl.

It took a former Packers back-up quarterback to out scheme and ultimately sink the Purple Dreams.

Congratulations to Doug Pederson and the Philadelphia Eagles.  Now, if we can just get the team to leave their obnoxious fans at home.
