What A Weekend

We knew the Brewers bats would wake up and we also knew that the Reds and the Marlins weren’t very good.  Those two things combined, the Brewers have now won 6 in a row and climbed to a tie for 1st place in the NL Central with the Cardinals.

What we didn’t expect, at least I didn’t, was the drubbing the Bucks gave to the Celtics on Friday and the gusty finish and win over the Celtics on Sunday.

The DRASTIC difference between the Bucks in the first two games vs. the last two games is as if someone switched out the entire team.  Jabari Parker and Thon Maker specifically have come to life.  Those two have made the clear difference in the Bucks tying up the series.

The Brewers are off to Kansas City for a couple of games and then to Chicago.  While I don’t think they can keep the winning streak alive, they certainly can keep winning series.

The Bucks however, as they now head back to “Beantown”, I hold my breath to see which team with Milwaukee across their chest hits the hardwood.

But man, what a great, exciting weekend.
